Our Story
A single colour, twenty-four shades.
Black Habit is built on restraint. We remove noise, keep the palette quiet, and let cloth, cut and finish carry the emotion.

Black Habit began with a frustration. Black, the most worn colour in the world, was being made carelessly — dyed flat, cut quickly, finished without care. We wanted to honour it.
We work with mills in Biella, Como and Porto who have spent generations refining the colour. A wool that reads warm under streetlight. A silk that turns ink-blue in sun. A leather that bruises into a deeper black with wear.
Each piece is made in numbered runs of fewer than three hundred. When a run is gone, it is gone. What we make, we make to last — and we will repair anything we have made, for as long as you wear it.
